Meet Katie
My story begins from a very young age. I was eight when my work was selected to be in an art show. Instead of playing with doll houses, I was designing my own house on paper. My senior year of high school, I painted a 20 ft mural that still hangs in the school today. Being artistic has always come naturally to me and I was so thankful to attend a school that allowed me to dabble in many different mediums to discover what I loved. In the end... painting was my passion.
I started my painting career as a side business in 2015. I painted pieces for my sisters, their friends and family for fun! Slowly I started creating pieces for people around town and through social media, my work naturally grew more popular. By 2018 I made the leap to full time artist and It has been the best decision I have ever made (other than marrying my husband)!
My work compliments both traditional and modern homes by capturing color and movement reflecting a more transitional style. Whether you commission a piece of art or collect a piece off the website, I feel it is my responsibility to provide each client with the most inspiring work. Art should always invoke an emotion... whether that is happy, bold or peaceful and it is my job to make that happen for you!
